The mobile application was developed as a final year project with the target of enhancing passenger experience through the dissemination of real-time public transport information of Rapid Penang buses. Key features of the mobile application includes search of bus routes/stops, display of route/stop information in tabular form or visualised on a built-in Google Map, hop-on & hop-off notifications, journey planner and schedule a journey. As of year 2021, development on this mobile application is still ongoing and may include additional features. The mobile application will be rebranded and it is hoped that it can be launched with a new image in the future as an additional option to public transport users asides Prasarana’s PULSE, Google Maps and Moovit.
